Guided Amish Bus Tours in Lancaster, PA
Sit back, relax and let us take you through the real Amish country backroads. Your driver-guide will drive 25 miles into countryside not easily found on your own. From the window, you’ll see Amish homes, schools and farms. Depending on the season you might see Amish working in their fields, children riding on scooters and horse & buggies traveling to and from.
Your driver-guide will be narrating as you see the Amish going about their everyday life. You’ll learn about agriculture, farming techniques, weddings, family traditions and how they live in our ‘modern world’.
This tour also includes a guided tour of our 15-acre farmhouse. As you walk through each room, you’ll learn about their church services, home life, and clothing.
We have two available bus tour options:
PREMIUM PACKAGE:
Lancaster County’s most comprehensive tour of the Amish culture. Three hours of touring includes a 30-minute guided tour of our 1805 farmhouse, 90-minute countryside bus tour, and self-guided walking tour of the 15-acre farm. Total time: 3-4 hours. Includes bus tour, house tour and farm visit.
CLASSIC BUS TOUR:
A great value! Start with a 90-minute bus tour of Amish countryside, then return and take your time exploring our 15-acre farm and one-room schoolhouse. Perfect option for those with younger children! Total time: 2-3 hours.
Includes bus tour and farm visit. NO HOUSE TOUR.
Reservations for these tours are highly recommended!

You may wish to bring cash as some of the Amish businesses we visit do not accept credit cards.
Please note: Every person, including babies/toddlers need a ticket. PA law requires every person to be in a seat. Children aged 3 and under are required to be in a car seat. We provide car seats at no charge.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Buses depart no later than 5 minutes past scheduled departure. Late arrivals will be permitted to join the next bus tour, subject to availability.
Feel free to bring a drink or snack along.
Well behaved and leashed pets are welcome on all of our tour options.

Sample Itinerary for Premium Package at 1:00pm
1. Arrival/Check In 12:30p.m. – 1:00pm
Please arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before your scheduled bus tour time. Stop by our reception desk first to check-in and receive your bus tour tickets. You are welcome to arrive earlier and start the self-guided walking tour of our farm.2. Bus Tour 1:00pm – 2:30pm
Next, step on our bus for an immersive learning experience. The bus will stop at Amish shops along the way and bring you back to our farm. Keep the cameras ready as you’ll see horse and buggies, beautiful flower gardens, and Amish working in their fields. 3. Guided Farmhouse Tour 2:45pm – 3:30pm (WITH PREMIUM ONLY)
Tour our historic farmhouse where an Amish family once lived and worked. Learn about Amish culture and beliefs from our in-house tour guide. The farmhouse tour can be completed before or even after your bus departure.We highly recommend completing the house tour before your bus tour. Please arrive 2 hours before your bus departure to complete the house tour.
4. Farm & Gift Shop Time 3:30pm – till closing time
Your paid tour ticket grants you access to enjoy our entire 15-acre farm at your leisure! We give you a map and you’re able to check out the one-room schoolhouse, see demonstrations by our resident artisans, and much more. We suggest about 1 hour for the farm visit but many families spend up to 3 hours!Thursdays-Saturdays (April to October) the BBQ Barn is open with grilled chicken, ribs, sandwiches, soft pretzels and ice cream. Enjoy your picnic-style meal right here on the farm.
