Clay Artist- Esther O’Hara

We are blessed to have Esther O’Hara’s clay gallery here at the Amish Farm and House. Lancaster County, PA has been home for Esther O’Hara for many years. She enjoys living in this beautiful county where the Amish culture is the foundation for most of her artwork.  Esther was born and raised in East Africa, where her parents worked in missions.  By living overseas, she learned an appreciation for cultural diversity. In childhood she discovered the value and art of quilt making.  These interests are now expressed in her creations.    Esther’s intention is to portray the Amish in a respectful manner.  Her Amish folk art has a following of collectors from around the world.
