Amish St. Michael’s Day/Communion

St. Michael’s Day is celebrated on October 11th 2020. The Amish community will be celebrating this holiday along with fall communion on Saturday, October 10th. St. Michael’s Day is a lesser-known holiday, but it is still celebrated by the Amish community in Lancaster. They will spend the morning fasting and the afternoon with friends and family.
If you’re considering taking a countryside bus tour please keep in mind that most Amish businesses will be closed on Saturday, October 10th + 11th. The bus tour will still make stops, just at local non-Amish owned businesses. Amish made products and souvenirs are always available for purchase in our gift shop, 7 days a week.
