About Us

The Amish Farm and House is Lancaster’s first Amish educational farm museum & the first Amish-focused attraction in the United States. Guests enjoy touring our 15-acre farm and learning about Amish culture through Amish countryside bus tours and guided farmhouse tours.

Driver / Tour Guides

Do you like to meet people from all over the world? Do you love baby animals? Do you want to work in a fun environment? Are you retired and looking for a fun job? Yes? Then this job is perfect for you!

Main Duties

  • Conduct tours in a timely manner through the Amish Farm and House and tours through Lancaster County farmlands to educate our guests on the history, culture, and customs of the Amish in an accurate and respectful way.
  • As a house tour guide, you will take groups of guests through each room of our farmhouse and teach them about Amish history, religion, and clothing.
  • As a bus tour guide, you will drive a 14-passenger van (no special license required) through the back roads of Amish County while simultaneously giving a tour.

Front Desk

Looking for some flexible part-time work?

Main Duties

  • As a member of the front desk staff you will greet our guests and help them select the best tour option for their needs.
  • Additionally you will check folks in for their reservations, assign seats our tour buses, and provide general information about the area.

Farm Ambassador

Do you love working with animals? Are you interested in flexible, part-time work?

Main Duties

  • As a Farm Ambassador, you will help with preparation for events on the farm (like the morning farm tour), by caring for the farm animals, and arranging setup/cleanup.
  • Additionally, you will assist the Goat Yoga team with class arrangements/setup/cleanup, animal care, and assist with guest requests.
